1st House Lord in 1st House and its Effect
Chapter 24, Shloka 1 of BPHS tells us that the native who has the ascendant lord placed in the ascendant itself in the kundali will have good physical health, prowess and happiness. He will also be intelligent and fickle-minded. He will have two wives and also enjoy company and bed pleasure with other women.

Chapter 24, Shloka 2 of BPHS mentions that if a native has his ascendant lord of the kundali in the 2nd house, then he will have a good amount of wealth and will be endowed with knowledge. He will be happy, a person with many good qualities and religious. He will have many wives and will be an honourable figure in society.

Sage Parashar has described that the person who has his ascendant lord of his kundali in the 3rd house will live life with the same courage and valour as a lion does in the jungle. Sage again said in the same shloka that this person will also have all kinds of wealth and 2 wives. The same shloka (BPHS, Chapter 24, Shloka 3) also says that the native will be intelligent, happy and honourable.

Chapter 24, Shloka 4 of BPHS teaches us that any native who has his ascendant lord in the 4th house will have both maternal and paternal happiness. He will also have many brothers. His primary qualities will be lustful, virtuous and charming.

Shockingly, BPHS mentions that the native who has 1st lord in the 5th house in the birth chart will experience mediocre child happiness or in simple words, his first child will die. This same shloka 5 of Chapter 24 also mentions that the native will get angry very fast, but still an honourable figure in society and dear to the king.

Sage Parashar makes it clear that if your ascendant lord is a malefic planet and is placed ar 7th house of your kundali, then your wife will not live long, but if the planet is benefic, then you will definitely roam around without any purpose in life, will face an extreme poverty-like situation and will feel dejected. Shloka 7 of Chapter 24 in BPHS also says that if the planet has strength, then the native may become a king.

According to BPHS Chapter 24 Shloka 11, a native will be famous and rich if his 1st house lord of kundali is in the 11th house. He will also have many wives and good qualities.

If the 1st house lord is in the 12th house without any influence of a benefic over it, then the native will have a bad physical body, will get a disease and live a meaningless life as per Shloka 12 Chapter 24 of BPHS. The native will be short-tempered too.

Brihat Parashar Hora Shashtra is the first and oldest book on astrology. It is written in a different era where necessity of humans were different from nowadays. Their main agenda was food, spouse, survival, king and pet animals. The necessities of modern humans are much different. Therefore, you may not relate to the predictions of Sage Parashar and may find it very short and general. Thousands of year has passed since this ancient scripture was written, and now astrology has evolved and refined much more; therefore, you may find many mistakes in that ancient book. Still, we have to respect that someone has done so much advanced research and study on astrology thousands of years ago and has documented it so that we can read it and can get this ancient knowledge.
