2nd House Lord in 2nd House and its Effect
Chapter 24, Shloka 14 of BPHS mentions that if a native has his Dhanesh of the kundali in the 2nd house itself, then he will have a good amount of wealth. He will be a person full of pride. He will have many wives but will suffer from a lack of progeny.
2nd House Lord in 3rd House and its Effect
Sage Parashar has described that the person who has Dhanesh in his kundali in the 3rd house will live life with courage and valour. Sage again said in the same shloka that this person will also be very lustful and wise. The same shloka (BPHS, Chapter 24, Shloka 15) also says that if a malefic planet as the second house lord is placed in the third house, then the person will not be god-fearing and may commit a lot of sin.

Chapter 24, Shloka 16 of BPHS teaches us that any native who has his Dhanesh in the 4th house will have all kinds of wealth. For Libra ascendant natives, if the 2nd house lord gets exalted in the 4th house and gets conjunct withJupiter,r then the native will be equal to a king.

This same shloka 17 of Chapter 24 also mentions that children of the native will also prefer making wealth as one of life's purposes. Sage Parashar says that the person who has Dhanesh in the 10th house of the kundali will have wealth, respect in society, and good education or wisdom. Sage also says in the same shloka 22 of BPHS Chapter 24 that this native will have a lot of interaction with the opposite gender. He will have a good libido, but still won't get the happiness of his own child.

According to BPHS Chapter 24 Shloka 23, a native will be famous and rich if the 2nd house lord of the kundali is in the 11th house. He will also have many good qualities and skills.

Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra is the first and oldest book on astrology. It is written in a different era where the necessities of humans were different from those of nowadays. Their main agenda was food, spouse, survival, king, and pet animals. The necessities of modern humans are very different. Therefore, you may not relate to the predictions of Sage Parashar and may find them very short and general. Thousands of years have passed since this ancient scripture was written, and now astrology has evolved and been refined much more; therefore, you may find many mistakes in that ancient book. Still, we have to respect that someone has done so much advanced research and study on astrology thousands of years ago and has documented it so that we can read it and can get this ancient knowledge.
